Rosalia
Rosalia Vila (aka Rosalia) is a Spanish pop and flamenco singer. From her teens, she's been involved with the edges of both popular and traditional music. Additionally, she plays with genres like hip-hop trap, and soul. Her voice is described by no less talented than flamenco guitarist Pepe Habichuela as sharp and sweet but with a bite like those of the past. El Mal Querer gained her fame and critical acclaim when her debut album Los Angeles was released in 2017. The album earned her an award called the Latin Grammy Award for Best New Artist. La Fama featuring Weeknd debuted in 2021. Motomami is her 3rd album that was full-length. It featured songs written in collaboration with other musicians and producers, such as Cory Henry. The album came out in 2022 because of the Saturday Night Live appearance by Rosalia, the vocalist of Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia performed solo for the first time ever on the show. Motomami Rosala, in addition to winning three Latin Grammy Awards and the Latin Album of the Year award twice, she was the first woman ever to be awarded both.
