MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The global recognition of his music has helped his rise into the mainstream of Latin music. In 2017 his hit track from 2016, Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. In Medellin in 2017, Sony's La Industria Inc. released ADN his first long-player. The album reached the top of the charts at number eight on the Top Latin Albums charts. Vaina Loca, which was an album that was a Top Five smash hit in 2010 featured him along with Ozuna. In 2020, he collaborated with Noriel for Mala Influencia and dropped the album Dopamina the next year. In 2021, he appeared on a duet TINI on her streaming smash song Maldita Foto. 2023 was the year 2000 when the hit La Bachata was released. Turizo was born into a musical household the mother of his younger brother and father are musicians. In interviews, he described music participation as mandatory. In his childhood he was instructed to play the piano, guitar and the ukulele. In spite of initially wanting to become a veterinarian, Julian convinced him that taking lessons with an Cuban music teacher could change the direction of his career.
